Nina's birthday getaway
We slightly surprised her on her 18th! She wanted to go to Tropical Islands, a huge indoor resort, so we decided to surprise her and actually go there on her birthday. She saw it coming though, so our surprise wasn't a success. However, it was still fun! Germany doesn't have any beaches, only small lakes, so going to Tropical Islands was definitely a must since we haven't gone swimming in a while. Plus it was a perfect getaway in the midst of the cold Spring weather.

Me overthinking at around 8am this morning.
My biggest fear is the future. Some will say, “no steph, it’s spiders!”. Others will say, “nope, i think it’s dogs!”.. But no, that’s not it.. I’ve mentioned to a couple of people already that the future is my biggest fear, but i never really had a proper answer to why that’s my biggest fear. Well i think it’s cause things change, circumstances change and people change in just a click. I’m not particularly scared of changes, but i’m scared of how much these changes can have a huge impact on me.. I like to plan things, i like to think at least three times on whether i should do something or not. But sadly, things don’t go the way you plan it sometimes. The future in general is scary ‘cause i’m scared of growing up, of what i’m going to become in the future and of dealing with the hardships i don’t really have to go through yet at this age. It’s scary ‘cause one minute you’re the happiest person alive and the next you’re facing ten problems all at once. Lastly, it’s scary ‘cause things aren’t guaranteed to last, to stay the way it is and to stay the way you want it to stay…
